I love it. I put the burgers on the grill, then asked my wife if we had any BBQ sauce. We didn't. This was the first simple recipe I found on the web. I didn't have all the right ingredients, so I substituted molasses for sugar, and rice vinegar for white wine vinegar, and forgot to add the Worcestershire sauce. Eyeballed the quantities. Done in time to flip the burgers. I liked it. My wife liked it. Happy Mother's day!

It was very good. I did not have paprika so I used a little of the cayenne pepper instead. I only used half of the amount of brown sugar and I added a couple teaspoons of honey to it. My soon to be 91 year old grandmother loved the sauce as well!

This was simple and perfect, although I added sauteed onion and balsamic vinegar to mine.

Have to agree that this was very ketchupy. Thanks for the tips with to add liquid smoke and dry mustard. Really did make a difference. :)

This particular combination and ratio tastes very "ketchupy" - but makes a great BBQ base if you add 2 teaspoons of mustard powder and a few drops of liquid smoke...I also chopped up some dry chipotle peppers which tasted great in the mix.
