Martha Stewart Member Rating: 5 stars 04/24/2016 This is a wonderful recipe and is applicable to asparagus and broccoli as well as green beans. I don't believe it's fair of the person who downgraded it because they dislike the cooking method (boiling). If you don't like boiled you're free to cook with your preferred method and proceed from there as directed in the recipe. Then rate the recipe on it's merits not an arbitrary cooking preference. Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 10/07/2008 You lose many vitamins by putting beans in boiling water. Better to steam them or microwave them. Save those vitamins whenever can!! Recipe sounds yummy. Martha Stewart Member Rating: Unrated 05/19/2008 Very fast and easy dish. Tastes delicious. I cut the recipe in half.Martha Stewart Member
