I moved in with my boyfriend and he had a convection oven. I put an extra tablespoon or more of lemon juice into the batter and 1/2 TBSP rine into the flour. Baked convection at 355; 7 minutes, flip and turn pans and 8 minutes. Perfect. Serious. You don't even need a spatula, just gently twist the cookie. Bottom is light golden brown.

Just made these n I think I may have overbaked a wee bit, but, the kids n hubby loved how crunchy they were n they didn't even wait for them to be glazed. Will make em again, and attempt to make them more chewy though.

The most delicious cookies ever, but double the lemon juice, and zest and add crushed pecans !!
And, strain the glaze to get out lumps, and then double the zest to the strained glaze.

The lemon glaze recipe is nothing special. You don't even need a recipe. Just thicken lemon juice with icing sugar. But its still amazingly delicious. It's tasty enough to eat with a spoon :D

The lemon cookies themselves were very good, but I think next time I'll use less sugar, more zest, and more lemon juice-too much butter, not enough lemony flavor.

Made these and they are delish! I used my mini scooper - approx. 3 teaspoon size and they baked evenly and were easy to remove from the parchment lined pans. The cookie is a nice mellow lemon and the glaze is tart. A huge hit with kids and adults !

These turned out awfully for me!!! I followed the recipe exactly, but the cookies were not done on the bottoms, and stuck to my airbake sheet so much that some of them broke while I was trying to get them off. Also, these turned out HUGE by following the suggested spoonful size. I would recommend using a heaping teaspoonful, unless you are looking for gargantuan cookies. Flavorwise, I would say they are just ok. Overall, I am very disappointed.

Just made them and they are wonderful! The lemon glaze really makes these cookies special. I actually got about 30 cookies out of this recipe. Watch the baking time as I left the first batch in for 14 mins and the bottoms of some of them had burned already. Second batch came out of the oven at 11 mins and was perfect. Perfect cookie for the lemon lover.
