Really easy, and surprisingly good. I will probably add seltzer next time to make it a little less potent so I can enjoy a few more.

- 2 ounces (1/4 cup) fresh key lime juice (from 8 to 10 Key limes; or regular lime juice from 2 to 3 limes)
- 2 ounces (1/4 cup) light rum
- 2 tablespoons simple syrup
- 1 cup ice
- Half a key lime, for garnish
Directions
Combine lime juice, light rum, simple syrup, and ice in a cocktail shaker; shake well. Add more simple syrup to taste if desired. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with half a key lime.
